En el Estadio Bicentenario, se disputó un partido amistoso entre la Selección Sub 20 de ascenso de Argentina con un combinado de la Liga Catamarqueña que finalizó con victoria de la Albiceleste por 4 a 0.
El combinado catamarqueño fue dirigido por Hugo Corbalán y Luis Castillo y tuvo en cancha a Román Chazarreta (Villa Cubas); Leonardo Carrizo (Tesorieri); Maximiliano Robledo (San Lorenzo), Francisco Agüero (Valle Chico), Lucas Acosta; Valentín Astudillo, Braian Sarmiento (Tesorieri), Agustín Villagra (Andalgalá); Cristián Berrondo, Patricio Silva y Joel Bazán. Los suplentes fueron: Renzo Marcial, Rodolfo Cativa, Lautaro Gordillo, Braian Dávila, Lautaro Brizuela y Ezequiel Sánchez.
Tras el encuentro, en redes sociales, el presidente de AFA, Claudio Tapia agradeció a la provincia y al gobernador Raúl Jalil por recibir al elenco nacional.

En este marco, el mandatario provincial reposteó la publicación expresando: “Gracias AFA y Chiqui Tapia, próximamente presentaremos el nuevo estadio Bicentenario”.
