El único gol del encuentro llegó por intermedio de Jesús Atencio, quien cumplió con la ley del ex y le anotó a su antiguo equipo para darle el triunfo y campeonato al Millonario de Saujil.
La consagración le da a River la plaza para representar a la Liga Departamental de Pomán en el próximo Torneo Regional Federal Amateur.
Asimismo, River se convierte en el 5to clasificado de nuestra provincial para el certamen federal que ya tiene confirmados a Coronel Daza y Villa Dolores (por el Torneo Provincial), Ferro y Villa Cubas (por la Liga Catamarqueña).
