Este sábado se disputaron dos de los partidos correspondientes a la quinta fecha en la segunda fase del Torneo Regional Centro, que disputan los clubes de las Uniones Andina y Cordobesa.
En el encuentro que se llevó a cabo en la ciudad de Catamarca, Chelcos de La Rioja derrotó de visitante a Los Teros por 34 a 22, sumando así su segunda victoria en esta fase.
Por otro lado, en la ciudad cordobesa de Bell Ville, Hurones de Valle Viejo se impuso ante el local Los Cuervos por 17 a 15, logrando su tercer triunfo en esta instancia.
Además, el viernes se jugó el adelanto de la jornada, donde Carlos Paz RC derrotó a Baguales de Jesús María por 58 a 0, en tanto que el compromiso entre San Francisco RC y Social de La Rioja fue reprogramado para el sábado que viene.
Con estos resultados, Hurones lidera con 15 puntos, seguido de Carlos Paz RC con 14, San Francisco, Cuervos y Chelcos 9, Social 8, Baguales 4 y Teros 2.
En cuanto a los duelos de la categoría Intermedia, los resultados fueron los siguientes: Carlos Paz RC 71- Baguales 5, Teros 42- Chelcos 12 y Cuervos 45 – Hurones 12.
