El Departamento de Competencias de la Asociación de Clubes (AdC) confirmó que la fecha de inicio para la temporada 2023/24 de la Liga Argentina de Básquetbol, está pautada para el 15 de octubre con una primera vuelta de nueve semanas hasta el 15 de diciembre donde se espera que cada equipo dispute la mitad de sus partidos de fase regular.
El Club Atlético Montmartre tiene confirmada su participación ante lo cual Catamarca seguirá teniendo un equipo en la Liga Argentina la temporada que viene, donde el tucumano Gabriel Albornoz continuaría siendo el entrenador.
El receso de verano será del 23 de diciembre al 5 de enero, retomando el 6 de enero con otras nueve semanas donde los equipos disputarán la segunda mitad de sus juegos de fase regular.
El formato de la segunda división del básquetbol nacional, según lo planteado, será idéntico al de la temporada pasada.
En cuanto a la conformación del plantel, la propuesta incluye cuatro U23 de formación, de los cuáles uno puede ser prestado y uno puede ser recientemente incorporado, aunque éste último deberá ser U21 como máximo.
La dirigencia trabaja en la conformación del plantel. Lo que se conoció es que el base Francisco Conrradi y el alero Martín Gómez no seguirán, ya que jugarán en la Liga Nacional, para San Lorenzo de Almagro y Unión de Santa Fe, respectivamente.
