El reconocido ciclista de ruta, Darío Díaz, visitó las instalaciones de la Dirección Provincial de Rendimiento Deportivo de la Secretaría de Deportes, con miras al campeonato sanjuanino que comenzará el 2 de octubre próximo.
El integrante del equipo Municipalidad de Pocitos se sometió a evaluaciones médico-deportivas en el laboratorio que posee el área que dirige el Dr. Jorge Herrera en el estadio Bicentenario de ésta Capital.
Por su parte Guadalupe Díaz, de 15 años de edad, quien se encuentra clasificada para las instancias finales de los Juegos Nacionales Evita a disputarse en Mar del Plata del 24 al 29 de octubre, llevó a cabo diversos estudios -alfombra de salto, entrevistas psicológicas y nutricionales, entre otros- con los profesionales que componen el staff de la DPRD.
Cabe resaltar que la DPRD tiene como función el asesoramiento para todos aquellos deportistas en búsqueda del mediano o alto rendimiento y/o que pudieran representar a Catamarca a nivel nacional o internacional.
